ENAC has granted SoftwCare accreditation for certification under the ISO/IEC 29110 standard, which defines the requirements for project management and software deployment process certification for Very Small Entities, VSEs.

Such companies need efficient software engineering practices adapted to their size and type of business. Therefore, ISO developed a series of standards and technical reports, ISO / IEC 29110, titled "Software Engineering – Life Cycle Profiles for Small Organizations", whose objective is to improve software processes by the standards enabling them to be applied to small software development companies.

SoftwCare has been accredited for basic and generic software engineering process certification (project management and software implementation).

For Patricia Rodríguez, CEO of SoftwCare, this accreditation represents a milestone in achieving its clear commitment to small organizations: "For years, SoftwCare has promoted software development improvements in large and small businesses and organizations, and, in recent years, it has been emphasising the setting-up and circulation of this new ISO/IEC 29110 standard to help VSEs improve their competitiveness and excellence. But what was missing was the last link of the chain: accredited certification so that small organizations would see the investment reflected in its improvements and show customers their level of excellence".
