ENAC has launched a new, completely updated website which is more interactive, functional and with new content. It is not only new in content and appearance, but, above all, in its conception and objective: clearly and accessibly communicating accreditation's advantages and the use of accredited evaluators.

The website focuses on three main types of visitors, such as accredited organizations, organizations wishing to be accredited and companies, public administrations, organizations, etc. who make use, in one way or another, of accredited services.

For companies which do not know if they can register and/or are unaware of the accreditation process, the main novelty is a specific section dedicated exclusively to guiding them through the different phases of the process with relevant information making the entire process more transparent and accessible.

It also highlights information for accredited service users (assessors' clients, management, scheme owners, large buyers, prescribers, etc.) since it is in this field where accreditation can and should make a difference through the choice of services accredited by the market.

With this in mind, access has been made more prominent and easier to the accredited bodies search engine, the website section that receives most visitors (both the homepage, as well as almost all the web pages), thereby improving the image and making the user's experience more intuitive and simple by unifying all information onto one page to simplify and make queries easier.

Another strategic change in this regard has been to emphasize the "benefits of accredited services" for the public administration and for the companies and the market in general.

In addition, a "multimedia material" area has been set up, which includes promotional material available to all interested parties, especially so that accredited bodies may make use of this material with their clients. This will be a constantly updated section and, currently there are brochures and videos to be downloaded.

It was also considered necessary to make ENAC's ability to support more visible to the users for developing and setting up conformity assessment schemes. Therefore, we have created a specific section for "technical support" which describes how and in what situations ENAC can provide that service.

Finally, it must be stressed that it has been developed in accordance with the principles of responsive design offering an experience of reading and optimal navigation on different devices, such as PCs, tablets or mobile phones.

So in ENAC, we are confident that this new website will become a meeting point for all interested parties (accreditors, companies, administration, business organizations, media, etc.) and contribute to increasing the knowledge and use of accredited services.
