ENAC has launched Campus ENAC, a new training service created in order to continue contributing to generating confidence in the market, strengthening quality's infrastructure, as well as to ensuring the knowledge of the standards used in the UNE-EN ISO/IEC 17025, UNE-EN ISO/IEC 17020, UNE-EN ISO 15189 accreditation processes, among others. These are for both institutions and professionals interested in establishing the standards and ensuring technical competence in their professional development.

After 30 years of experience in the accreditation of testing, calibration and clinical laboratories as well as inspection and certification bodies, ENAC has launched this training programme with the regulations applied to the accreditation and conformity assessment field. The training catalogue will be taught by ENAC's technical team, which not only has knowledge but also broad experience in assessing the requirements of the different accreditation standards.

The first Campus ENAC training offers are 2-3 day courses in Madrid and Barcelona consisting of:

  • An in-depth course addressing the requirements of the UNE-EN ISO 15189 standard related to clinical laboratories. (The first session of this course will be held on 3 and 4 October in Madrid).
  • Four courses on the UNE-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard (related to testing and calibration laboratories) dealing with four different perspectives: in-depth courses addressing the standard's requirements, practical courses focused on assessing the standard's technical requirements, a general auditing course, and specific courses on the calibration requirements of the UNE-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard.
  • Three courses on the UNE-EN ISO/IEC 17020 standard (related to inspection bodies) to be addressed from three different perspectives: a course for those wanting to start understanding the standard, a practical course focused on assessing the standard's technical requirements and an auditing course aimed at those who should audit their compliance.

In the coming years, Campus ENAC will continue expanding its catalogue with similar courses for the rest of the accreditation standards as well as for various aspects and techniques of conformity assessment. If you want to know more about ENAC's full training programme for 2017, please visit the Campus ENAC homepage.
