The Spanish Prenatal Diagnosis Association (Asociación Española de Diagnóstico Prenatal, AEDP) and ENAC have recently renewed their agreement to, in addition to increasing collaboration between the two institutions, make accreditation's essential role visible in the Spanish health system and in the prenatal diagnosis field in particular.

The signing of this agreement reinforces ENAC's and AEDP's collaboration, which began in 2007 with the first agreement, and focuses on ISO 15189 standard training activities, a global reference for diagnostic services.

Therefore, the agreement addresses ENAC's commitment to offer AEDP members Campus ENAC  courses on the UNE-EN ISO 15189 standard at a reduced price, in order to promote accreditation awareness among health professionals carrying out prenatal diagnosis activities and who ultimately apply it on a regular basis in their diagnostic centres.

This agreement demonstrates, once again, ENAC's firm commitment to providing the maximum guarantees of technical competence to diagnostic services, an essential element to ensure that clinical decisions are made based on reliable results, minimizing risks to patient safety, and increasing diagnostic quality.
