ENAC has granted accreditation to the National Cryptologic Centre, part of the National Intelligence Centre (CNI), for the certification of high-level ICT product security under the European Cybersecurity Certification Scheme EUCC, thereby completing the certification offering for EUCC in Spain.

With this accreditation, it is possible to issue conformity certificates from Spain for all ICT product levels and categories within the EUCC framework, including the technical domains of smart cards and similar devices, as well as hardware devices with secure enclosures. Thereby, further strengthening the European certification ecosystem within the framework of the Cybersecurity Act.

The EUCC scheme was created with the aim of raising ICT products’ cybersecurity level in the EU market. Specifically, it enables security product providers - such as smart cards, devices and network systems, user access control or key management systems, and many other products, to demonstrate their security by undergoing a common EU-wide assessment process.

ENAC and the CCN actively participate in developing and deploying the EUCC scheme which reflects Spain's commitment to creating a solid framework of digital confidence for certifying its products at the scheme’s various levels.
