Rosalina Porres, awarded by the CCN for her professional career supporting cybersecurity
Rosalina Porres, in charge of the coordination and supervision of the cybersecurity field and ICT accreditation processes at ENAC, has been awarded the 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award in Cybersecurity by the National Cryptologic Centre (Centro Criptológico Nacional, CCN).
This award, presented during the XVIII STIC CCN-CERT Conference by Mrs. Esperanza Casteleiro Llamazares, Secretary of State and Director of the National Intelligence Centre (Centro Nacional de Inteligencia, CNI), is an important recognition in the sector, as it distinguishes the work of those who dedicate their efforts to improving the security of the country's systems.
“She is someone with a career of more than 20 years contributing to building confidence in the cybersecurity sector," they highlighted when revealing the name of the awardee in front of outstanding professionals in the cybersecurity field.
Likewise, during the event, her work serving our country's cybersecurity was highlighted: "She has participated, offering her invaluable support to the accreditation processes, both to the certification body itself and to the assessment laboratories attached to the National Scheme for the Assessment and Certification of Information Technology Security (ENECSTI). Her work has also been fundamental in developing and implementing the accreditation scheme for bodies that certify compliance with the Spanish National Security Scheme (ENS)”.
In addition to her commitment to the cybersecurity field nationally, Rosalina has played a prominent role at the European level, in particular in the cybersecurity certification scheme (EUCC), based on Common Criteria within the framework of the European Cybersecurity Act, collaborating in developing it as a representative of the European accreditor organization European Accreditation (EA) in the ENISA working groups in charge of developing the scheme.
In her words of gratitude, Rosalina Porres has recognized the privilege and professional challenge of being able to collaborate with CCN: “It is a great honor. ENAC and CCN have been collaborating together for many years, working side by side in all certification schemes to have safer products and systems and with assessors who demonstrate competence to carry out their control activity. For me, it has been a great professional challenge and a privilege to be able to collaborate with all the professionals at CCN with whom I have always had a special relationship. They are not only great professionals, but also great people, making it very easy and rewarding to work with them. I would like to share this recognition with all of us who work in our action field so that Spain has guaranteed products and systems to be confident in”.
